Like the Bee Gees in the "disco sucks" early 80's, R. Kelly offset a mountain of negativity in 2003 by writing hit songs for other artists. Unfortunately, instead of "Islands In The Stream", we got "In Those Jeans." This song is a typical Kelly ode to a body part with Ginuwine adding Jheri Curls and a sixpack.

Live Aid has the potential to be a great event, but drawing high publicity culture shocks like the Spice Girls is just ridiculous. Why bother enlisting such a terrible act when the likes of U2 and Oasis can get involved? It may be a charity event, but just because it's money for a good cause doesn't mean they shouldn't bother their arses putting on a good show.

I'm not opposed to charity events of any kind, but are the Spice Girls really going to draw anybody to this concert? I don't think anyone has forgotten that they can't sing. Maybe they're planning a late 90's revival tour with Limp Bizkit and the Backstreet Boys.

This is very exciting to me. I don't know why it has taken so long for record companies to figure out how to increase CD sales through inclusion in a ticket package. Bargains boast sales. Just look at the success of Avril Lavigne, she sold her CD at a deep discount making it climb the charts faster.

I would be happy if in a fan club package I could get a cd, a baby tee, 4 beer vouchers, two concert tickets and a signed sticker or poster for $100
